The persecution of the founder of Tanuki is related to the rental of premises for a gym – Kommersant

The day before, on November 16, it became known that Orlov had been included in the list of wanted criminals. The media wrote that he was suspected of “causing especially extensive property damage by an organized group.” In such a case, a businessman could face up to five years in prison.

As law enforcement sources told the publication, a criminal case was opened against Orlov at the request of the director of Promtekhnocom LLC, which owns a space in the city of Moscow. Probably, we are talking about non-payment of rent for the premises by the tenant represented by Mercury Fitness LLC.

Additionally, the tenant “made changes to the infrastructure without informing the owner and without permission,” the source states. It is clarified that a swimming pool was built for a gym co-founded by Orlov. Damage is estimated at about 110 million rubles.

Alexander Orlov, in collaboration with Andrey Isaev, founded the Tanuki restaurant chain in the early 2000s.
