The new system has a number of advantages, including the ability to control two or three manipulators simultaneously, which increases productivity. It is designed for use on various types of tractors, including Belarusian models, and will be used for snow removal, roadside cleaning, mowing grass, cutting bushes and small trees.
The control system is equipped with encoders and touch sensors at each link of the manipulator, allowing machine operators to control the process using buttons on the electronic unit or in automatic mode. It allows you to transfer the manipulator from the working position to the transport position and back, as well as perform movement when performing road maintenance work.
The system has been successfully tested on the Strizh-2 tractor and has already aroused interest among road enterprises both in the region and in the country. The authors of the development were experts from the company Modern Road Technologies and students of SSTU specializing in robotics and intelligent systems.
