Patrushev noted that these campuses will become centers where important domestic technologies are developed and are designed to attract talented young people from different parts of the country. Particular emphasis was placed on the creation of a campus on the basis of Rybinsk State Aviation Technical University, which will become a center for training specialists and conducting applied research in the aviation industry.

The Secretary of the Security Council emphasized that such campuses, located close to industrial enterprises, will make it possible to combine scientific research with production. The Mercury project will become a key element for the development of both the university and the city of Rybinsk, contributing to the preservation and development of unique industry competencies.
