The vulnerabilities discovered include two vulnerabilities in the WebKit engine that affects iOS, macOS and iPadOS and powers Safari and various other applications.
One of the flaws, CVE-2023-42916, allows hackers to obtain sensitive information, and CVE-2023-42917, a memory corruption bug, triggers the execution of malicious code. At the same time, Google also disclosed a zero-day bug in Chrome called CVE-2023-6345, caused by an integer overflow in the Skia component.
Users must install updates.
