Dmitry Azarov noted that the center will develop unmanned aerial vehicles using the knowledge and competencies of local universities in the field of aviation design and artificial intelligence, as well as the experience of the region’s leading enterprises specializing in automotive and engine manufacturing.

According to the governor, the production of unmanned aerial vehicles in the region will begin this year. The establishment of the center will be an important step in the development of the unmanned aerial vehicle systems sector and will support the commissioning of new production lines and technological developments.
