The complaints have been coming since November 28, and Windows 10 and 11 users are affected. Even non-HP printers are not immune from this “printer apocalypse”, with some users claiming that the update installs drivers for printers that are not connected. While Microsoft remains silent on this issue and HP tries to find the root cause on its own, users are left searching for solutions.
Since Microsoft has not released a fix, users need to be careful with updates after November 27.
