According to a report by security platform Zimperium, over a billion app downloads Google Play store may have been infected with malware. The most impressive thing is the number represents only 639 financial apps available in the app store android.

The report shows that criminals are not interested in traditional applications and are focusing their efforts on applications with more modern solutions, such as some that offer cryptocurrency investment and digital payments.
