The Russian mobile operator Tele2 will increase tariff prices by more than 10% from the beginning of 2024. Several subscribers of the operator told Vedomosti about this.
The operator’s subscriber received a message that from January 2, 2024, the monthly fee for communication services, taking into account the individual discount, will increase by 65 rubles per month.
The changes will be applied on the day of the next debit. The user clarified that according to the “Everywhere Online 04_2020” tariff, after the New Year the price will increase by more than 10% – from 560 to 625 rubles.
The second subscriber learned about the price increase from 300 to 370 rubles from January 2024.
Users contacted the FAS about an increase in Tele2 tariffs. The operator notified the service of its plans, the department is analyzing the information received.
If violations of antitrust legislation are detected, the FAS will take response measures, the agency representative added.
Previously, Megafon, Beeline and Tele2 refused to charge fees for distributing Internet traffic from mobile devices. The FAS ordered the four large operators to cancel Internet distribution rates on September 18. According to experts interviewed by RB.RU, the function of connecting devices could cost the user up to 1.5 thousand rubles per month, in addition to the tariff.
