The leader in the increase in business registrations in September-November 2023 was advertising activity: in this area, the increase in new individual entrepreneurs and LLCs was 91% compared to the same period last year. This is stated in a study by Business Environment (a subsidiary of Sber), the results of which were reviewed by RB.RU.
The top three also included education (an increase of 85%) and activities in the field of sports, recreation and entertainment (an increase of 80%).
In absolute terms, the most popular type of business was retail trade, followed by passenger and freight transportation, wholesale trade, specialized construction work, real estate transactions, catering, building construction, personal services, wholesale and retail trade of automobiles and motorcycles. , as well as its repair and software development.
“Among the regions, the largest increase in the number of small businesses compared to autumn 2022 was recorded in the Republic of Dagestan, the Krasnodar Territory and the Omsk Region,” the acting director said. General Director of Delovaya Sreda Alexey Grishchenko.
The most active were entrepreneurs between 26 and 35 years old and 36 to 45 years old: 29% and 32% of business registrations, respectively. The Republic of Udmurtia turned out to be the “youngest” region: the share of entrepreneurs under 26 years old was 29%.
To calculate the data, Delovaya Sreda analyzed about 45 thousand individual entrepreneurs and LLCs that were opened using their own business registration and remote account opening service. To exclude the effect of a low base, indicators were considered in which the number of business registrations exceeded 500.
In summer 2023, the rental and leasing sectors led the growth of business registration in Russia.
