Rumors continue to circulate about the existence of a remake of Silent Hill 2 in development at Bloober team However, the CEO of the Polish software house, Piotr Babieno, prefers it don’t comment on the rumours over the past few days, pointing out to IGN.com that we’ll have to wait for an official presentation to get an answer about the team’s next projects.
We cannot comment on everything we are developing as we clearly value and consider the relationship we have built with our partners very important. So we can’t say anything. We will make an announcement about our future plans as soon as possible. Then you know much more… officially
We also learn from Babieno that the software house is currently busy three different projects: the first in development under the auspices of Konami, the second with Private Division that will start a new IP and a third that is currently in the pre-production phase.
The CEO of Bloober Team then adds an interesting detail, underlining that “Even as for the project that we can’t talk about, it will still be a Bloober Team Game“. A somewhat ambiguous statement that could actually relate to the new remake of Silent Hill 2which can perhaps boast of the presence of some elements that are completely in line with the approach and vision of the team.
