A Moscow court fined Twitch 4 million rubles for failing to remove banned content. This is stated in a statement from the press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

Twitch receives new fine for not removing prohibited content

The decision was made by the judge of the 374th judicial district.

In the Tagansky district of Moscow, the company Twitch Interactive, Inc was found guilty of a violation of art. 19.7.10-4 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The maximum penalty provided for in this article for legal entities is 6 million rubles.

Previously, in April 2023, Twitch was already fined for not removing information. The fine amounted to 13 million rubles.

Recently, Google (4 million rubles) and TikTok (800 thousand rubles) received fines for similar crimes.
