Google also offers updated repair guides designed to make them more user-friendly for technicians and enthusiasts. Available in English and French, these guides currently cover the Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, and Pixel 8 Pro, with plans to expand to other devices soon.
To add an extra layer of privacy, Google is introducing “Repair Mode,” a feature for Pixel owners who send their phones in for repair. Similar to Samsung’s Repair Mode, this feature protects your sensitive information while technicians do their job.
