The cost of the case is $99. This price is due to the presence of a Qi charging coil with MagSafe magnet, which allows you to use the corresponding devices to charge the case. The device is also equipped with an ultra-wideband (UWB) chip that detects the position of the case.

Additionally, the case also included a USB-C port instead of Lightning. By Apple’s logic, this is suitable for users who are ready to switch all their devices to USB-C and already own a pair of second-generation AirPods Pro with Lightning cases – then this upgrade is cheaper than buying a new set.

Like the AirPods Pro headphones, this case also received IP54 certification; Protection against moisture, including splashing water and dust.
