The flip side: Instagram will have an alternative profile just for private posts

Instagram continues to develop a genre “alternative” profile for personal use. The discovery came from developer Alessandro Paluzzi, who published new images of the resource.

According to Paluzzi the function is now called other side of the coin – written in lowercase letters, a change to the code he found on the platform a few weeks ago. Previously the resource appeared under the name: “Your space”.

But the idea remains the same: to be a completely personal environment and target only close friends or host content that the user would not want to publish to all followers. This is possible even on the “B side” of the account use another photo and change the profile name and description (Bio).

As the rules shown in the screenshots show, the other side is a field. “Be yourself” in a special tab for the user and his most frequent contacts; all pre-selected.

To see other people’s alternative profiles, you will need to scroll down, accessing the personal version of the account of the person who allowed you to access this content.
