One in five SME representatives plans to spend more than 1 million rubles on digitalization in 2024, according to the study. The entrepreneurs plan to develop marketing, automation, artificial intelligence and project management. At the end of 2023, the majority were satisfied with their investments in the field of digitalization.
In 2024, the proportion of small and medium-sized businesses investing in IT development will increase. This is clear from the results of a study carried out by IT solutions provider PRO32.
The share of those who invested more than 500 thousand rubles in IT in 2023 (31.5%) will increase to 56.9% in 2024. Among the main areas that entrepreneurs plan to develop are marketing and sales, automation and AI, as well as project management.
9.2% of entrepreneurs plan to spend more than 5 million rubles on business digitalization in 2024, 12.3% – from 1 to 5 million rubles. Every third respondent intends to invest between 500,000 and 1 million rubles in IT.
Most entrepreneurs were satisfied with the digitalization projects that were implemented in 2023. More than 50% noted an increase in labor productivity, about a third indicated an increase in income.
21.4% of entrepreneurs have not yet seen the effect of using digital solutions. Business representatives identified lack of own experience (37.9%) and lack of suitable, out-of-the-box solutions (33.3%) as key barriers to further digitalization.
To carry out the study, experts interviewed owners of more than 70 companies.
