User reports describe an “endless stream of ads” leading to fake currencies, cryptocurrency leaks, and other scams. These ads appear all over the platform.

What’s the problem? Most of these fake ads come from verified accounts that have paid for X Premium features. This raises questions about whether the X verification process is sufficient to prevent abuse.

The large number of fake ads indicates that X is not scanning enough ads. Users think X is prioritizing revenue, perhaps due to the loss of major advertisers last year (numerous companies have left, including Apple and Disney).
