VimpelCom subsidiary Hive LLC, created for venture investments, received 40% of the developer of the Tamburin media planning automation platform, TIEMBI LLC. Interfax drew attention to the changes in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and VimpelCom confirmed the purchase of the asset from the agency. The transaction amount is not disclosed.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, a 40% stake was transferred to Khayva on December 29. Before that, it was owned by Tamburin co-founder and CEO Natalya Ivanovskaya. After the transaction, Ivanovskaya retains 50% of the company and the remaining 10% belongs to Alexander Matushko.
As the press service informed the agency, the platform developed by Tamburin makes it possible to predict sales based on the media plan prepared by the client. The service will help you design the most effective sales scenarios, as well as calculate the media mix for a given budget. They also added that Tamburin’s portfolio includes more than 50 clients from Russia and the CIS countries.
According to SPARK-Interfax, TIEMBI LLC has existed since 2020. In 2022, the company achieved revenue of 5.7 million rubles, with a net loss of 2.2 million rubles.
Over the past few months, the Hive structure has been actively investing in IT services in various areas.
In November, the company received 10% of the startup Restik, which is developing a set of cloud services for restaurants and cafes. In the same month, the structure acquired 13.3% of the developer of a solution in the field of analysis of the emotional response of the audience, Candy Flip Robots.
In addition, since November the structure has owned 15.23% of the Novator speech therapy platform. In early December, it emerged that Hive had invested in test preparation service New School. The structure itself was established by Vympel Communications in 2022.
