Apple has released firmware 2.0.6 for the Magic Keyboard. In the new version of the software, the company has fixed a bug that allowed attackers to obtain the Bluetooth connection key to identify all Bluetooth traffic. But this could only be done if there was physical access to the keyboard.
The vulnerability affected all Magic Keyboards, including those with Touch ID and number pad.
The keyboard updates automatically when connected to a device running macOS, iOS, iPadOS, or tvOS.
