Second-year students of the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Electronics of the Novosibirsk State Technical University NETI are creating an unusual case for smartphones.
Its trick is that the accessory has a built-in pepper spray. Spray distance is 1 meter. With a canister capacity of 25 ml, you can sell up to 50 presses.
In the course “Fundamentals of Project Activities”, which we, first of all, are looking for an actual problem, can be solved in a new way. While going through the topics, we remembered one of these – self-defense included. At that moment, I was holding a phone with a case in my hands, the decor of which imitates a spilled liquid, and so the idea came to modernize the case by integrating a pepper spray into it.
