According to tipster Evan Blass at former Twitter user X, the Samsung Galaxy S24 will focus on artificial intelligence (AI). The flagships are expected to inherit several AI-powered Google features, including a distinct evolution of Google Lens.
One of the highlights at launch will be the “Search Circle”. Tool It allows the user to circle or point at an item on the screen and quickly search for the item without having to take a screenshot.
“Search for any image, video, or text on your screen. Circle, highlight, scribble, or tap to identify what interests you—no need to take a screenshot,” explains Google.
The function was first found in Android 14 QPR2 Beta in December 2023. However, until now this functionality was not publicly available.
In some ways, the new feature matches the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s S Pen functionality very well. The accessory allows you to select items on the screen more precisely and more conveniently.
Technical page of Galaxy S24
The information provided by Evan Blass also reveals some of the technical features of the new devices. According to that, The base Galaxy S24 will have a 6.2″ FullHD+ display, while the S24+ will have a 6.7″ display with QuadHD+ resolution.
Of the entire set, the device that needs to undergo the most changes is the Galaxy S24 Ultra. At the top of the series there will be a 6.8 inch screen with QuadHD + resolution, but it will now be completely flat. The device must be made of titanium, like the iPhone 15 Pro.
Galaxy Unpacked will take place tomorrow (17)
Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is scheduled for Wednesday (17) at 15:00 (Brasília time). At the event, the company is expected to introduce its new top-end models for 2024.
The South Korean manufacturer needs to highlight the new features of One UI 6.1 as well as new devices. The first major update to the system based on Android 14 should have a strong focus on artificial intelligence additions.
