A series of discussions Beeper Mini app inclusion continues. The most recent of these concerns the service that allows iMessage to be used on Android and includes claims that some users’ accounts have been suspended.

Reports posted on the service’s Reddit subforum claim that Apple has indefinitely banned Apple ID accounts used in the Beeper Mini and later reopened in iMessage for Macs.

When contacted by the support team, users were informed that the suspension was imposed because the account was accused of spam. Following a conversation with the company’s help, most of those affected were able to use the messaging platform on their computers again.

But not all agents can restore the profile. What’s more, the conversation even includes giving away the serial number of the Mac in question; This is something not all users are willing to do.

Even though most of the case has been resolved, it’s possible that other Beeper Mini users may experience this trouble accessing iMessage from other platforms. So far the company has not made any official comment on the matter.

Beeper Mini goes back and forth

Beeper Mini was released on the Google Play Store in early 2023 and was met with controversy and celebration from the beginning. After all, the app allowed a person to send messages as if they were using an iPhone, but from an Android device.

Use of the app caused It’s a real conflict with Apple, which doesn’t like to see its messaging service circumvented by the app. A few days later, the company managed to hack the method the developers were using to spoof access to the iMessage server, but after a while the service went back live and remains available to this day.

Beeper Mini interface is the same as a regular messenger.

In this return, an important change was implemented: You now need to log in with your own Apple ID to use the service. In other words, you can connect your Mac, iPhone or iPad account to the messenger.

The likely hypothesis of users on Reddit is that the company has also discovered this method and is now blocking access. Another possibility is that the connection Beeper Mini generates a false spam positive to the company’s servers, which automatically blocks it.
