A Moscow court extended the preventive measure in the form of detention of businessman Alexander Kim for two months, until April 21. This is stated on the telegram channel of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

The detention has also been extended for Nikita Dubas, accused along with Kim under an article of the Penal Code of providing services that do not meet security requirements.

On August 20, 2023, a group of eight people took a tour of underground Moscow. They found this offer on the Sputnik8 service. As the group descended underground, a heavy downpour began outside. As a result, closed sewers flooded with water and people trapped in them drowned.

Kim was arrested immediately after the tragedy and has been in prison ever since. At today’s meeting, the defense tried to soften its preventive measure.

The business community defended Kim. An open letter in support has already collected more than a thousand signatures.
