Vkusvilla products began to be sold in supermarkets in the United Arab Emirates. Until then, the Russian retailer’s products were available in the country only through a delivery service.
The company has signed new partnership agreements, thanks to which it has gone offline in the United Arab Emirates. The Russian brand’s products are now available on the shelves of Grandiose supermarkets. They can also be purchased online in the Deliveroo, NowNow, Careem and Wee Marketplaces. This was reported in the service’s press service.
Grandiose is a premium segment retailer. The chain offers its customers products from local brands, as well as gastronomic and dietary products from around the world. A Vkusville offering has now appeared on the shelves of 10 Grandiose supermarkets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
At the beginning of last year, the retailer began selling products in Dubai in collaboration with the Russian founders’ express delivery service YallaMarket. Over the past year, the Vkusville team has expanded its availability in the UAE. Now products are presented on aggregators whose users are mainly local residents.
Today in the UAE you can choose Vkusvilla products from 67 items in various categories from baby food to canned food.
According to the director of the export directorate of Vkusville, Victoria Pinchuk, the company sees prospects in the local market in the healthy food category. Now the retailer’s team is building communication with the local audience.
“When entering international markets at the first stage, it is important to have the support of local partners, establish effective communication with sales channels and test various hypotheses together. We have successfully solved it,” Pinchuk said.
- Earlier this summer, Vkusville launched grocery delivery in Kazakhstan.
- In November 2022, the retailer began developing the Chinese market, and soon after, Vkusville began delivery to neighboring countries: Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, and Tajikistan.
