Scientists have found that taking a daily multivitamin has a strengthening effect on the brain and helps combat cognitive impairment.

The Alzheimer’s Association warns that by 2060, one in four Americans will be in an age group at high risk of cognitive decline.

Taking a daily multivitamin containing more than 20 essential micronutrients is considered a simple yet effective method to counter memory loss and slow cognitive aging.

Cognitive decline is a major concern in the aging population, and taking a daily multivitamin is a cost-effective way to slow the aging process, said lead researcher Chirag Vyas.

Findings show that taking a daily multivitamin may slow cognitive aging by up to two years compared to a placebo.
