Today Apple opened pre-orders for Vision Pro.
As it became known from the specified characteristics, the helmet can weigh from 600 to 650 grams, depending on the configuration. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro weighs about the same (682 grams).
The included battery weighs an additional 353 grams.
When compared with other helmets, the new product from Apple turned out to be heavier than the original: the weight of Meta Quest 3 (belongs to Meta, banned in Russia and recognized as extremist) is 515 grams, Quest 2 – 506 grams, Pico 4 – 295 grams. However, Quest Pro was still considered the most severe disease (722 grams).
