Kuo notes that despite initial success, Vision Pro delivery times remained the same after the first 48 hours of pre-orders.

This may indicate that after an initial surge of interest from enthusiastic fans and active users, demand for the product may drop sharply.

Unlike new iPhone models, which generally continue to see steady demand even after initial sales, the Vision Pro may have difficulty maintaining consumer interest.

Kuo suggests that Apple will need to carefully monitor changes in demand and app updates to hit its 500,000-unit sales target in 2024.

Kuo also emphasizes that the Vision Pro is a niche product, given its high price and exclusive features.

Given Apple’s large active user base, even a small percentage of interested buyers can generate significant sales, but sustaining that interest will be important to the long-term success of the product.
