The number of young entrepreneurs in Russia has reached 243.5 thousand, the Ministry of Economic Development reported. Since 2019, the number of entrepreneurs under 25 years of age has multiplied by 1.5. The share of these individual entrepreneurs in the total number is still small, but the growth rate is increasing.
In Russia, over the past four years, the number of entrepreneurs under 25 years of age has multiplied by 1.5. RBC writes about this with reference to data from the Ministry of Economic Development.
If in 2019 the number of young entrepreneurs was 148 thousand, in 2023 there were already 243.5 thousand. In 2023 alone, the number of individual entrepreneurs under 25 years of age increased by 20.6%.
In the total number of individual entrepreneurs, the share of young individual entrepreneurs is 5.9%.
By the end of 2023, the number of active individual entrepreneurs in Russia increased to 387,000, a record number since 2008.
