The Norwegian company Opera, developer of the browser of the same name, will launch a new browser with artificial intelligence for iOS devices in the European Union. The application is called Opera One.
This was reported by the Opera’s press service. It should be noted that Opera One will run on its own browser engine. This was made possible after Apple relaxed App Store policies in Europe in response to the requirements of the Digital Markets Act (DMA).

Opera Mobile executive vice president Jorgen Arnesen said Opera One will be “aimed at artificial intelligence” and that the company itself will soon announce “major investments” in a key AI infrastructure project, but its creators have yet to say more. about the functionality of the new browser.
Opera One is scheduled to launch in March, which is when the DMA comes into effect. For now, the iOS app will only work in the European Union, but Opera hopes that Apple will soon extend the new rules for the App Store worldwide.
Also this week, Apple removed the requirement that apps support Sign in with Apple. Furthermore, the changes apply not only to the EU, but also to other countries.
