Wildberries plans to build a new warehouse near St. Petersburg to replace the one that burned down. The facility will be located in the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region and investments in the project will amount to 9 billion rubles. On January 13, a fire broke out in the Shushary market warehouse, destroying the building and all property; Damage is estimated at 17 billion rubles.
Wildberries will build a distribution center in the Tosnensky district of the Leningrad region. The agreement was signed by the regional governor, Alexander Drozdenko, and the general director of the market, Tatyana Bakalchuk, the Wildberries press service reported.
The construction of the warehouse is planned to begin in 2024 and end in 2025. The area of the center will be 154 thousand square meters. m., will be able to handle 115 million units of cargo per year. Investments in the project will amount to 9 billion rubles.
