Vkusville increased share of online sales to 54% in 2023

In 2023, the chain opened 531 new stores and 28 dark stores, reaching 147 locations throughout the country. The turnover of the delivery service increased by 54% and amounted to more than 139.4 billion rubles, including VAT. In 2022, the proportion of online purchases was 39%.

In addition, the company recorded a 50% increase in turnover from the Vkusville business and the net profit from this area is also growing.

Vkusville also started testing new formats. In 2023, the chain added mini stores. The retailer also launched greystores (points with a separate area for picking up orders).

“In 2024, our goal is to develop the service infrastructure, open more darkstores, mini-darkstores and greystores to accelerate free delivery, as well as offer additional assortment by expanding projects,” said delivery manager Maxim Sukhinenko.

In early January, Vkusville went offline for the first time in the United Arab Emirates. The Russian chain’s products have appeared on the shelves of the local Grandiose supermarket.

The company also closed an agreement with the PNK group for the construction of a warehouse complex with an area of ​​118 thousand square meters. m, which the retailer will rent.
