This update, included in version 8.0, makes interacting with the app even more intuitive and useful, enabling automatic detection and translation of languages during conversation.

With the new Speech mode, users get a single microphone button that, when activated, turns into a spinning Material You shape, signaling a transmission.

This update also includes the new Material 3 slider design and the ability to adjust text size using the autoplay feature.

Additionally, the chat bubble icon now splits the screen in half, making it easier to share your phone number.

Google Translate has already included thoughtful use of Material You elements, including containers, the Dynamic Color theme, and updated widgets.

The only nuance that distinguishes it from the general concept is the application icon, which, unlike the main logo, retains depth, shadows and height.
