The Avito service has launched a separate filter in the search for the Furniture and interior category for products of the Swedish retailer IKEA. The RB.RU correspondent drew attention to this. Filtering of third-party products is not offered.

Avito released a separate filter for IKEA products

Products in this category started appearing in search from December 1st. The company confirmed the launch of the new filter and reported that Avito users bought IKEA products this fall almost 2.6 times more than in the same period of 2021.

“The average check for the purchase of IKEA products on the platform amounted to 5,118 rubles. Textiles and rugs represent the largest share of sales, followed by decorative items. Storage furniture (wardrobes, chests of drawers, and shelves) and upholstered furniture (beds, sofas, and armchairs) are also very popular,” the company said.

Currently, under the IKEA button, you can find 80,000 ads for individuals and 8,000 for companies. Among the proposals are mattresses, beds, chests of drawers, shelves, cabinets and other things.

IKEA suspended the work of stores in Russia in March after the start of a special operation in Ukraine. In June, the company announced that it was liquidating its network. At the same time, the Swedish retailer’s products appeared on Yandex.Market and Ozon.

On November 16, it became known that Yandex.Market agreed to buy all the inventory of the Russian division of IKEA. On December 1, the service began selling them. The range was reported to include more than 20 million products.
