SUNLIGHT announces the appointment of Professor Nona Dmitrievna Dronova to the position of director of the company’s gemological center. The Gemological Center is a unique new division whose key tasks will be the examination and direct acquisition of gemstones throughout the world.

Nona Dronova is a recognized expert in the field of gemstone and jewelry evaluation, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences. Nona Dmitrievna was the founder of the market approach to the valuation of jewelry and precious stones. She is the author of the first methodology for evaluating jewelry with precious, semi-precious and semi-precious stones published in Russia, which was implemented as an official document by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

Since 2010, Nona Dmitrievna heads SUNLIGHT media projects. Under her leadership, the industrial portal “Jewelry Business”, online magazines “Game” and Sunmag have been and are being successfully developed. The total accumulated monthly traffic of SUNLIGHT media as of January 2024 exceeds 3.5 million visitors.
