Yandex moved to the next stage of testing quick responses of the YandexGPT language model – they are now available to all users in search results, but for a limited volume of requests. This is what he said in a statement.
Since September 2023, YandexGPT Quick Answers has been operating in limited test mode: more than 200 thousand people participated. Users rated the results of the generation more than 135 thousand times. 70% of the reviews were positive, the company said.
Quick answers give users the opportunity to save time searching for information, while YandexGPT processes complex and complex questions. Next to the responses from the language model there is a note indicating that they were generated by the neural network.
Yandex also noted that site owners will be able to independently decide whether their content will be used to generate updated quick responses from YandexGPT.
YandexGPT is a neural network that can create and process texts, offer new ideas and take into account the context of the conversation with the user.
