Among the most notable improvements is a software update for the DualSense and DualSense Edge wireless controllers. This update promises an enriched audio experience with an increase in the volume of the controller’s speakers, allowing game sounds and voice chat to be heard better.

Additionally, an AI machine learning model has been applied to improve noise cancellation, delivering a clearer voice chat experience without being affected by background noise.

Another important innovation is the introduction of the interaction feature to the Screen Sharing function. Viewers will now be able to use beacons, ping, draw lines, and make emoji-based reactions on the host’s game screen. This functionality is enabled by default but can be disabled by the host if desired.

Finally, PS5 users will be able to: Further personalize your gaming experience by adjusting the brightness of your console’s power indicator. This option is located in the section [Configuración] > [Sistema] > [Pitido y luz] and then i choose [Brillo].

This set of improvements comes at an exciting time for PS5 players, coinciding with the release of highly anticipated games such as The Last of Us Part II Remastered, Tekken 8, Helldivers 2 and FINAL FANTASY VII Rebirth.

Participants selected for the beta will receive an email invitation to download the update. Sony emphasizes that some beta features may not be available in the final version or may undergo major changes.
