According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Intellectual Construction Solutions LLC was registered in Moscow on February 5, 2024, 50% of the shares of this company belong to the general director and co-founder of QLab Daniil Kruchinin, the other half belongs to Arkady Froimchuk.

Kruchinin himself, in a conversation with RB.RU, confirmed the launch of a new project and said that it is an AI-based video analysis system for monitoring the construction process – QMonitoring.

“In 18 months [инвестировали] more than 60 million rubles. The product has already been defended in Skolkovo and we are testing it with the main Russian developers,” said the businessman.

The basis of the system is YOLO v.8 technology. The project includes four modules that record the hours of work with special equipment, the number of employees and unauthorized persons, recognize protective equipment depending on their location, etc.

The uniqueness of QMonitoring, according to Kruchinin, lies in the technology for analyzing buildings and their elements: a biometric module that identifies objects without QR markers. “The product is ready, we have developed our own data set of more than 80 thousand images. Currently there is no analogue on the Russian market,” said Kruchinin.

According to Konstantin Negachev, co-founder and director of VRT Group, the introduction of AI will significantly reduce costs at the stage of analysis and selection of the development territory, predict security threats and manage risks.

For example, using cameras with AI algorithms, a customer can receive a tool that will record and warn about the presence of people in construction work areas that a specific person does not have access to. In high-risk areas, the system can detect prohibited items without human intervention. Another area of investment is video analysis based on artificial intelligence to evaluate the effectiveness of the work carried out, said the specialist.

  • QLab is a Russian company that develops IT solutions for companies. It was founded in November 2020 by Alexander Nurkaev and Daniil Kruchinin. Daniil Kruchinin is also the founder of the online platform for the sale and purchase of event tickets, Eticket4.
