M.Video has opened service areas where equipment purchased from other retailers can be repaired. “M.Master” is available in stores in Moscow and St. Petersburg and in the future it is planned to expand the network to 30 areas.
M.Video-Eldorado explains the appearance of the format by the closure of authorized centers of foreign manufacturers. In fact, these organizations continue to operate, but without official status, writes Kommersant.
Experts say that these service centers increase prestige and strengthen the retailer’s position in partnerships with new suppliers, although the company’s strong position in the market may allow it to acquire a certain share in the service.
In the future, the network also plans to increase its fleet of vehicles for field repairs from the current 200 vehicles to 500 by the end of 2025.
