Wellness startup Deep Mind has raised its first investment worth $200,000

In total, four investors invested in Deep Mind, including coach Alisa Levchenko-Plekhanova, the names of the remaining investors were not disclosed, the company informed RB.RU.

The investments will be used to expand the team and develop expert high-tech products. Before the current investment, the company was developing organically, “without raising money and practically without investing in growth,” said a representative of the project.

“The company’s mission is to create a meaningful and healthy society. To implement this mission, deep mind has been consulting with senior management for 4 years and carrying out educational and facilitation programs in the b2b market based on modern psychology and embodied and contemplative practices,” the company said.

Deep mind was founded in 2019 by Max Rodin (ex-Timofeev), a professional facilitator and teacher of mindfulness practices. Revenue from the project in 2023 amounted to 20 million rubles, up from 10 million in 2022. At the current stage, the project estimates its cost at $1.1 million.

The founder of the analytics platform Dsight, Arseniy Dabbakh, estimated deep mind at $0.7 million, taking into account the growth and potential in the coming years.

“This is not yet a digital product and it is difficult to scale it up, both in terms of sales and implementation,” Dabbah noted, noting that if investors help the company reach a broader level of customers, the evaluation of the project will change. .

The founder of Dsight estimated the wellness market in Russia at about one billion rubles, noting that it is growing and quite promising. The programs are in demand mainly in large companies, the expert added.

Deep mind really works with medium and large companies, solving the problems of stress and burnout of employees in companies. Among its clients, the startup mentions Yandex, Qiwi, Avito, Tinkoff and, outside the Russian market, PandaDoc, InDrive.

  • Avito informed RB.RU that Deep Mind will be a partner of the company in 2022 as part of the less stressful training program. “This year Avito is considering the possibility of further cooperation in the field of wellness programs,” added a company representative.
