Don’t expect premium components from the Libero Flip, but it has good features for its price. It has a 6.9-inch OLED display powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and 6GB of RAM. The memory capacity is 128 GB and a 4,310 mAh battery is used to maintain performance.
Libero Flip has a clamshell design. When closed, the small 1.43-inch screen displays notifications and quick access to functions. The phone has dual cameras placed in a ring around the external display.
Although it is budget-friendly, Libero Flip comes with Android 13 out of the box. While there’s no wireless charging feature, that’s a small compromise considering the price.
A turning point for foldable devices? Although it remains unclear whether it will be available outside of Japan, the Libero Flip is strong evidence that foldable phones can be cheap.
