“Aquarius” has filed applications to register the trademark “Chelobrek” and more than a dozen new trademarks. According to Vedomosti, the developer plans to sell its devices and solutions in online markets and stores.
Apps include Aquarius AQbase, Aquarius AQbios, Aquarius AQdesk, Aquarius AQstor. They are registered in a wide range of classes, for example, the development of smart speakers, cards, glasses, smartphones, including foldables, watches and other electronic products.
The publication’s sources at electronics manufacturing companies say we are talking about creating a recognizable device brand for retail users. One of the interlocutors suggested that Aquarius is preparing to expand into the Russian retail market and is repackaging its products for this purpose. In the future, the company may launch its own app store based on the ecosystem.
Aquarius plans to invest 40 billion rubles until 2026 to expand production and create new products, in particular televisions, watches and smart speakers. To this end, the electronics manufacturer asked the government to partially co-finance projects, introduce sales incentives through preferential loans and limit parallel imports of foreign electronic products.
