Copilot’s AI assistant gets deeper integration with Windows 11. Users can now manage system settings, manage accessibility tools like Narrator and Screen Magnifier, and interact with third-party apps like OpenTable by entering commands directly into Copilot.
The Photos app now includes an AI-powered Productive Erase tool, similar to Google’s Magic Eraser, that lets you remove unwanted objects from photos. Additionally, Microsoft’s Clipchamp video editor now includes a Silence Remover tool that eliminates audio gaps in videos.
Voice controls have received a major upgrade, adding the ability to navigate between multiple screens and improving support for languages such as French, German, and Spanish. Users can now create their own spoken keyboard shortcuts for frequently used commands, and Narrator’s built-in screen reader has received updates to better handle text in images and documents.
New features will be rolled out gradually until April 2024.
