Last week, Apple blocked CryptoPro from the App Store and revoked the product code certificate for macOS.

As a result, users cannot use the company’s services, including CSP, an application that takes into account the creation and verification of email in Russia.

But the company has already told you how to bypass the block on Mac. To do this, you just need to install a new version of CryptoPro CSP.

How to install CryptoPro CSP on macOS after blocking

1. Download the updated version of CryptoPro CSP R3 (5.0.12998). The official link leads to Yandex Disk

2. Open downloaded file ru.cryptopro.csp-cades-5.0.12998.dmg

3. In the window that appears, the external file ru.cryptopro.csp-cades-5.0.12998.pkg. Be sure to right-click on it and select Open. If you double click on the file, it will not run

4. When you receive a warning, click the button Open

5. In the next window, click the button Allow. If you already have CryptoPro CSP installed, the installer will offer to update it. Click the button Continue

6. Accept the license agreement and click the button Continue In chapter type of instalation (most of the necessary parameters are already marked)

7. The installation will then begin, which will take approximately 15 seconds.

An error may occur during installation. In this case, you need to review all the actions, but in the section type of instalation uncheck two Esmart modules. They can be installed separately by downloading from the developer’s website.

The company has provided an update to be released soon that will fix this bug.
