Roskomnadzor expanded the list of participants in the social media registry. Discord and Yappy were added to it, the department’s press service said in a statement.
Now the registry includes 15 Internet resources: VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Telegram, LiveJournal, Pikabu, Zen, RuTube, YouTube, Likee, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitch, Discord and Yappy.
“According to the law on self-control (530-FZ), social networks must independently identify and block prohibited information: child pornography, suicidal content, prodrugs, etc.,” Roskomnadzor noted.
Registry participants must publish a user feedback form so that users can submit complaints about the publication of prohibited content.
For violating the law, services participating in the registry face a fine of up to 8 million rubles.
