Since the beginning of this year, Apple has been banned from selling the Apple Watch in the US under blood control measures.
The ip fray resource reports that Masimo’s patents, which Apple violated, expire in 2028. This means that the company has allowed this feature to return to its watches.
Now the Cupertino residents have filed an appeal against the court’s decision. During the consideration of the case, the court may change its decision and remove the restriction.
There is also an option that Apple negotiates with Masimo to return measuring instruments to the Apple Watch. However, there are no signs yet that the companies want to enter into an agreement.
