This is 73 MHz more than the previous record set in October 2023.

Achieving this result required the ROG Maximus Z790 Apex Encore motherboard and liquid nitrogen cooling system. The CPU ran at 1.85 V and its temperature dropped to -231 °C.

In addition to the frequency record, Asus ROG overclockers managed to break three more records: in the PiFast (6.79 sec), SuperPI 1M (3.768 sec) and PYPrime 32B (97.596 sec) tests.

Overclocking a processor is not only a way to show its potential, but also an opportunity to gain additional performance. In this case, overclocking the Core i9-14900KS allowed it to show outstanding results in benchmarks.
