The essence of the claims and other details of the case have not yet been revealed. MGCom is a full-service digital agency. The company earned 15.9 billion rubles of revenue and 913.8 million rubles of net profit at the end of 2022.

At the beginning of this month, Google already filed lawsuits against two legal entities, Price Express LLC and OMD Novus, for 15 million rubles.

The Russian subsidiary of Google was declared bankrupt by the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court in October 2023. The company’s debt amounts to 53.6 billion rubles.

As Ilya Zharsky, managing partner of the Veta think tank, explained to RBC, Google’s claims have nothing to do with the parent company.

The money that the company now raises is not in the interests of the founder, but in the interests of the bankruptcy creditors. Any bankruptcy, as a rule, involves a series of lawsuits challenging transactions that were completed before the bankruptcy decision.

Early last month, 2GIS filed a second lawsuit against Google and its subsidiary in Russia.
