The popular YouTube streaming platform Zak Nelson (JerryRigEverything channel) decided to test Elon Musk’s claims about the Cybertruck’s bulletproofness.
He used a Glock 19 9mm, but Musk used the Cybertruck, which is not yet available. bam. The car has metallized polyethylene film. The bullets did not penetrate it, but there were dents on the doors, and cracks formed when they fell repeatedly.
I used a standard Hornady Magnum Rimfire 22 gauge, 17mm commercially available, about 610 m/sec, used with plastic, did not trip or the back of the door. Remington’s .223-caliber AR15 rifle samples couldn’t make that kind of blowing steel through.
And finally, the cherry on the cake is a shot from a 50-caliber Ptrona sniper rifle.
