“Companies VK and 1C joined the consortium of investors who previously, together with the management, bought 100% of the shares of Tochka JSC. None of Tochka’s shareholders have a majority stake. Operational control remains in the hands of top management,” they said in the Tochka press service. The bank further added that the formation of the target structure of JSC “Tochka” has been completed.

From the VK report it follows that the group, together with 1C, was among the investors who previously became owners of the bank. VK reported in July 2023 that it had received an offer to buy a stake in Tochka. The holding company did not disclose the size of its stake at the time.

In July 2023 it became known that the consortium of investors that would consolidate 100% of the shares of Tochka and all its subsidiaries would include Interros. It was also reported that Trust Bank will sell 90% of Tochka for 41.5 billion rubles.

Tochka is a digital bank that provides financial and non-financial services to small and medium-sized businesses. In January 2023, the Bank of Russia granted the company a universal banking license.
