Roscosmos head Yuri Borisov explained the reason for the cancellation of the launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft on March 21 by comparing it with the situation when a car battery “boils”. According to him, the launch was canceled 20 seconds before launch due to malfunction of the thermostat relay.

Borisov emphasized that the fault correction was successful and all electrical circuits were checked. He also noted that the crew remained in good shape thanks to the astronauts’ high stress resistance.

It is worth noting that the launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft with a crew of three was postponed to Saturday after the cancellation occurred due to a voltage drop in the chemical current source.
