A council for the accreditation of information products has begun to operate in Russia. This was reported by Izvestia with reference to the director of the Association of Information Companies, Grigory Avetov.
The Council will accredit the information products in accordance with the regulations developed by the association. The products will be evaluated according to a point system and seven criteria, including compliance with the association’s ethical standards, availability of human resources and specialists.
Accredited products will be included in a special registry. Being there will become a sign of quality for consumers, the association highlighted. The first stage of accreditation will begin in April.
